TeleCom Dispatch started with our small family-owned tow company in California. We were having a hard time finding and training staff in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. Times were tough, and things like gas and insurance were getting more expensive by the day.
From this struggle, we imagined a way for small businesses to hire talented people from all over the world without being stuck with just local options. We decided to test this idea with our tow company by hiring one remote worker. It worked so well that we hired more and eventually ran the business entirely with remote staff.
We believed in the idea so much, we risked our family’s business—and it paid off! We cut costs by half and had more freedom to enjoy life.
